In our citation examples, we use the following color coding:
- Red – Author
- Blue – Title of book/article/charter/webpage
- Pink – Date
- Orange – Website/Publisher
- Green – Title of journal
- Gray – URL/database/website where the source is retrieved
- Peach – Additional information about the source (i.e. its type, specific features etc.)

Add “n.d.” instead of the year to indicate that the date of publication is unknown.

Blog
Add “(blog)” after the blog title written in italics (the format is similar to periodicals).
Example:
Smith, Jane. 2024. “Pie Recipe.” KidsActivities (blog). March 13, 2024.

Social Media
Example:
