In our citation examples we use the following color coding:
- Red – Author
- Blue – Title of book/article/charter/webpage
- Pink – Date
- Orange – Website/Publisher
- Turquoise – Place of publication
- Sienna – Pages
Books
Mind that the Chicago Manual of Style discourages the use of secondary sources in academic research.
It is to be avoided at all times. In case the original source is not available, it is better to use the “quoted in” format for the footnote.
No bibliographic citation is necessary.
